White Album intro

Now somewhere in the Black Mountain Hills of Dakota There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon And one day his woman ran off with another guy Hit young Rocky in the eye, Rocky didn't like that, he said, "I'm gonna get that boy" So one day he walked into town booked himself a room in the local saloon.

Anthology intro

Rocky Raccoon, he was a fool unto himself And he would not swallow his foolish pride Mind you, coming from a little town in Minnesota It was not the kind of thing that a young guy did When a fella went and stole his chick away from him Rocky Racoon checked into his room only to find Gideon's bible Rocky had come, equipped with a gun to shoot off the legs of his rival. His rival, it seems, had broken his dreams by stealing the girl of his fancy Her name was McGill, and she called herself 'Lil' But everyone knew her as Nancy. Now she and her man, who called himself Dan Were in the next room at the hoedown Rocky burst in, and grinning a grin, he said, "Danny boy, this is a showdown." But Daniel was hot. He drew first and shot and Rocky collapsed in the corner. Da-n-da da da-n-da da da... Now the doctor came in, stinking of gin and proceeded to lie on the table. He said, "Rocky, you met your match." But Rockey said, "Doc, it's only a scratch. And I'll be better... I'll be better Doc as soon as I am able." Now Rocky Raccoon, he fell back in his room only to find Gideon's bible. Gideon checked out, and he left it no doubt to help with good Rocky's revival. Oh yeah, yeah Da-n-da da da-n-da da da... |Am7 | Am7 || verse 1 Am7 Now somewhere in the Black Mountain Hills of Dakota D7sus4 D7 There lived a young boy named Rocky Racco - on G7 C And one day his woman ran off with another guy C/B Am7 Hit young Rocky in the eye Rocky didn't like that D7sus4 D7 He said "I'm gonna get that boy" G7 So one day he walked into town C C/B Booked himself a room in the local saloon. verse 2 Am7 D7sus4 D7 Rocky Raccoon checked into his room, G7 C C/B Only to find Gideon's bible Am7 D7sus4 D7 Rocky had come equipped with a gun G7 C C/B To shoot off the legs of his rival Am7 D7sus4 D7 His rival it seems had broken his dreams, G7 C C/B By stealing the girl of his fancy. Anthology verse 4+5

The doctor walked in, sminking of gin (laughs), 'sminking'? Proceeded to lie on the table (he was really "sminking" of gin) And it did him in, in the end, poor doc Meantime, back on the table, yeah Doctor said, "Rock, you met your match, son" Rocky said, "it's only a scratch, son I'll be better soon, he better be, better soon, said the doc "Come on, son Gotta get hip, gotta get up, gotta get back till you're good Gotta go show that Danny boy" However, Rocky Raccoon fell back in his room Only to find Gideon's bible Gideon checked out and left it no doubt To help with good Rocky's revival
